So here we again after a return once more to a most secret dig. On this trip work was carried out to get down the possible pitch at the sink. Now armed with more than just a hammer and chisel , rapid progress was made. Drill and capping soon had ripped out sufficient rock rock to enable progress down the first pitch! This free climbed led to two faults, both on the skinny side. So more drilling and capping to join these together made progress once more possible. After a couple of hours of this a low and damp bedding was reached. After half an hour of investigating this and still not reaching the end I decided to turn around and retreat for another day. Goodness knows how long this cave passage is and as to where it could lead onto?

Now back out of the world of fantasy!!!!
So I capped out a rock face where water fell down a pitch of some 12 inches. Then came to two cracks an inch wide that just joined together 2 feet in. Capped this out and got to a bedding, 4 inches high and totally flooded. Shoved my arm in and waggle’d a bar about for abit. Got wet and cold. All this at an amazing total length of 3 feet of mindless mining! But if you don't look you will never find.
