Chris Camm was always going to struggle to lead this trip from another country so Gary stepped in to lead it. 7 members turned up at the parking place above Darnbrook Farm on a fine Saturday.

It was never going to be hard to find the entrance to Robinson Pot ,as it is right next to the farm wall. Once the lid was up and the entrance rigged ,we all descended the 20ft pitch .We all set off to explore the cave, only one member Alan had been down before and that was 25 years ago. The passage was mainly large walking over mud with some crawling. We reached the end of McColls rift before too long. On the way back a passage on the right lead to the second pitch of 3m into the main streamway which is quite impressive. Both upstream and downstream sumps were reached. We all set off for the entrance via some rather slimy mud thanks to Alan, to conclude a trip of about 3 hours. 2 lucky members even managed to use the farmers hose pipe to clean down their gear. Overall a very good trip.

(cheers to Gary for leading the trip and bringing the tackle)
